Who am I?

I am a speaker, consultant, and content creator on a mission to transform individuals and organizations into the leaders of tomorrow. If you were to ask me if I always envisioned myself embarking on this mission, I would say, “absolutely not.” I was extremely shy and introverted as a child; I excelled at (and preferred) working alone, and I never had the self-confidence to speak up and take the lead in the appropriate situations. However, after overcoming mental health issues throughout my teen years into early adulthood, I discovered the power of self-awareness, mental resilience, and human transformation. 

Throughout my struggles, I gained the unique ability to be hyper-aware of myself and those around me, which created a deeper understanding of human behavior and psychology, the social and emotional impact of our external environment, and the complexity of human relationships. I found myself critically reflecting and learning through every new experience, but most importantly, I found myself helping others to do the same. I now know that underneath “my old self” was  just an untapped leader identity. 

As I began my leadership journey within the school nutrition field, I started to utilize this newfound identity and passion to better understand and lead those around me. I soon noticed how many people still have yet to discover their own leader identity. Through experience, education, and research, I believe that being a leader in your personal life and professional life are one and the same.  

Why am I here?

Every individual has a leader identity; it just takes a bit of work and a little discomfort to discover it. I am here to make the discovery process and life-long journey successful. 

As a speaker, I inspire and educate organizations by weaving together my personal stories, expertise, and research in an engaging, memorable, and thought-provoking way.

As a consultant and coach, I successfully develop individuals and organizations by incorporating my own experience and researched-based knowledge for customized coaching and workshops. 

As a content creator, I educate others through informational yet engaging material via YouTube and social media.
